We now offer Jissen Budo International (JBI)
Jissen Budo (JBI) has now been introduced to our school. It is an excellent form of self defence and can be classified as a combative martial art.

The JBI association is a standard-bearer in the training and assessment of martial arts skills, designed for real combat. As an association of practically-minded and committed budoka, Jissen Budo provides assistance, recognition and skill-sharing opportunities to martial artists across Australia and Internationally.
What is Jissen Budo
Jissen Budo looks at all areas of hand to hand combat. This includes ‘At Range’, ‘Clinching’ and ‘Ground’.
At Range

‘At range’, consists of strikes, kicks, elbows, knees etc.
Clinching

The ‘clinching’ element deals with fighting on your feet, where opponents are touching each other, such as hand/grip fighting, body movement, takedowns, throws, sweeps, joint manipulations, locks, pressure points etc.
Ground

Lastly the ‘ground’ element will include all aspects of fighting on the ground.
We will prepare you for your JBI Black Belt
As a JBI school, we can prepare students who believe they have the necessary skills to grade for Black Belt. Additionally, we offer a coloured belt grading system all the way to black.
We are one of very few schools in Australia, able to deliver JBI training. We have developed a syllabus, which will take students through 10 colour belts to black.

If you have what it takes, or simply want to get what it takes to be an awesome martial artist across all areas of fighting (at range, clinching and ground), join our program and be the best you can be.
